fencing materials. Feather edge is
ideal for fencing in uneven levels. You can install a fence up to 10ft wide per
section and up to 6ft 6in tall for a garden. We supply all sizes of feather edge boards from
3ft to 6ft.
If you need gravel boards to stop the rot we have them
too. You will need feather edge
brackets to install your fence to an existing post. If you are buying mortice fence posts with mortice arris rails the brackets will not be needed. If

- What is feather edge fencing?
Feather edge fencing is a fence that is normally 3 meters wide using arris rails as the backing rails. The feather edge is then nailed on individually to create a bay. You can use morticed concrete fence posts or 4x4 wood posts for this type of fencing.
How many featheredge boards will i need?We only sell 100mm wide boards as this reduces warping. you will need 13 featheredge boards per 1 meter
What size featheredge boards do you have?We stock 3ft featheredge up to 8ft featheredgeIs featheredge fencing easy to fit?Feather edge fencing is the hardest type of fencing to fit. The panel fencing system is an easier option to install.Do you nail through both featheredge boards ?It is recommend that each featheredge board is fixed once and not through both boards. Some suppliers advise using two nails per board, but this does not allow for shrinkage of the board and can result in splitting.
How far apart should the posts be?The fence posts should be 3 meters apart.Do I need gravel boards?Yes you will need to use gravel boards. You will need concrete gravel boards with concrete morticed posts and wood gravel boards with wood posts.Can I Collect?Yes we have a warehouse and showroom in Northfleet In Kent.
