The patio heaters we supply from Lifestyle Appliances Limited use propane gas. Each heater comes with a hose and propane regulator; all you need to do is supply the gas.
There is some assembly required. However, these patio heaters are easy to set up. The only tools you need are a Phillips head screwdriver and an adjustable spanner.
As our patio heaters use gas, they should be safe to use on decking, either wood or composite. However, we recommend that you use a heatproof mat under the patio heater and don’t leave it on unsupervised.
While these patio heaters can be used in a light drizzle or when there’s a sprinkling of snow, we don’t recommend using them in adverse weather conditions.
No – as our patio heaters use gas, they cannot be used in an enclosed space or inside. We recommend that any ventilated area has a minimum of 25% of the surface area open.
This means patio heaters are safe to use under a gazebo or pergola, as long as they are always supervised.
While our patio heaters have been built to last, it’s essential to look after them to protect against damage, blockages, and rust. Keep the exterior surfaces clean – use a stainless-steel cleaner on the steel and warm soapy water on the powder-coated surfaces, while keeping the area around the burner and pilot assembly dry.
Once a year, inspect the patio heater for spiders, other insects, and spider webs, as these can damage the heater.
Store your heater sheltered away from adverse weather conditions, and use a cover to protect against dust and insects. Our patio heaters come with wheels to make them easy to move around.
