OSB’s one of those products that surprises people. It might not look fancy, but it’s strong, reliable, and easy to work with. We’ve seen it used for loft floors, shed walls, and van linings. It’s tough, holds its shape, and doesn’t fall apart after one job. We only stock Smartply OSB because it’s consistent, moisture-resistant, and FSC certified. Just solid boards that do what you need them to do. If you’re not sure which thickness you need or what’ll work best for your job, ask us. OSB gets the job done. It’s strong, takes weight well, and holds its shape once it's fixed in place. You don’t have to baby it or stress about every little nick or knock.
That’s why we keep it simple. Two board sizes, both 2440mm x 1220mm, with 11mm and 18mm thickness options.

OSB means oriented strand board and can also be known as sterling board. Smartply OSB boards are made from engineered strands of wood. It is manufactured by compressing engineered strands of wood mixed with resins at a high temperature. This method creates a multi-use panel that offers many benefits.
Smartply OSB boards are FSC certified and are an eco-friendly alternative to plywood.Is OSB Eco- FriendlyThe wood used to make OSB is constructed from small pieces of timber combined with adhesives. By using these smaller pieces of wood it enables OSB to be created from younger trees in place of mature, more established trees. Making OSB a more sustainable choice of wood.Is OSB Moisture ResistantOSB is suitable to be used in dry conditions and interior humid conditions like bathrooms. However, this versatile timber can also be used for exterior projects when waterproofed and treated with moisture-resistant resins.
