Here at G&G we supply all types of paving like porcelain paving and natural stone. Natural stone paving has been used for many years and will stand the test of time. All patio stones have their own characteristics, whether it be colour or texture its uniqueness comes from a natural process that has occurred over many years. There is a vast range of beautiful natural stone patios to meet everyones individual style, taste and personality making it a great addition to your garden. Indian sandstone & limestone are strong and hardwearing stones. G&Gs natural stone paving is always calibrated for consistent thickness to help with faster installation, when it's installed it will create a perfect finish. We also sell sawn smooth Indian sandstone, this is the flat paving or you can have natural riven that has a few lumps over it but very anti-slip. - What different types of paving slabs are there?
Porcelain Paving Slabs
Porcelain paving is the most popular and best paving for you garden. They all have an anti slip rating and also do not need to be treated like Indian sandstone.
Indian Sandstone
Indian sandstone is a very popular type of stone to use in your garden project. It comes in smooth and Riven. This is a natural product so would need more looking after then porcelain paving. You can use a paving sealer on the stone to prevent stains but this would need to be done yearly.
Are paving slabs hard to install?If you are good at diy then you may be able to install your own garden paving. You will need a sub base of approximately 4 inches and lay the paving on a wet cement bed. This is the best way to lay and will last for many years.
Should I seal paving slabs?If you have porcelain paving installed in your garden you will not need to use any sealant on the slabs. If you decide to go for Indian sandstone them we recommend sealing them.Do you send samples out of your paving?No we do not send samples out but do have detailed photos on our website and also have our porcelain paving on show at our shop in Northfleet Kent.Are you paving slabs calibrated?We only sell calibrated paving slabs They are a bit more expensive but they are easier to install so saves time.Can I Collect?Yes we have a warehouse and showroom in Northfleet In Kent.
