Feather Edge Fencing
Feather edge fencing is one of the most reliable ways to build a strong, secure garden fence. It's a popular option for homeowners and tradespeople because it's simple to install, long-lasting, and easy to maintain.
You’ll find everything you need above to build your own feather edge fence, including boards, posts, arris rails and gravel boards. All parts work together to give you a fence that stays solid and looks good.
What You’ll Need
Here’s a quick look at the key items and what they’re used for.
All our feather edge boards and timber parts are pressure-treated. This helps protect them against rot and makes the fence last longer with less maintenance. Adding gravel boards will also stop moisture from rising into the panels, allowing your fence to stay strong year after year.
Good for All Gardens
Feather edge fencing suits almost any garden. It offers privacy, security, and a tidy finish while blending well with different styles of landscaping. Taller builds are great for blocking out views and noise. Lower builds are ideal when you want something neat and simple.
Choosing the Right Board Size
Feather edge boards come in a range of sizes, so you can build a fence that fits your space and meets your needs. We stock boards from 3ft to 6ft, giving you full control over the height of your fence.
Shorter boards work well for boundaries or dividing spaces in the garden. Taller boards are better for privacy and security, especially along property lines. Each board is cut to the correct taper so they sit tightly together and give your fence a clean, solid finish.
