A slatted fence panel is a stylish and contemporary garden fence panel that is fully framed. Suitable for use as boundary fencing, screening or partitioning. These panels are high quality made with smooth-planed and rounded timber slats. The slats allow light and air to pass through.
How wide is an slatted fence panels?Slatted fence panels are 1800mm wide. They are smaller than a standard British fence panel so if you are changing your panels you will need fence packers to make them the same size.What is the size of the gap in a slatted fence panel?The gaps are 20mm.Is an slatted fence panel flimsy?Our slatted fence panels are very strong and steady. They are high quality fence panels.
Can you see through slatted fence panels?Yes, you can see through single slatted fence panels. If you want a slatted fence panel that you can't see through our double slatted fence panel will be better suited.Are the Slatted fence panels treated?All our fence panels are fully pressure treated.Do you make custom slatted fence panels?No, we do not make custom slatted fence panels but we do sell an extra side rail so you can cut down yourself.Do I need fence packers for slatted fence panels?If you are using standard British gravel boards you will need to use fence packers with your slatted fence panels to make them the same size. You can cut the gravel boards down to the same size of the panel if you do not want to use packers.Do I need to treat slatted fence panels?You will not need to treat your slatted fence panels bought from G&G as they are fully pressure treated but if you want to keep them looking fresh we recommend Barrentine Timber Protector to repel water, protect against UV damage and mould. The Barrentine Timber Protector offers good surface protection due to its wax content, but it's really only suitable for use on pre-treated timber.
Do I Need Gravel Boards for Slatted fence panels?You do not need gravel boards with your slatted fence panels but we would recommend a concrete or wood gravel board for them to sit on. Your fence panels will last longer with a gravel board.What colour do the Slatted fence panels come in?Our Slatted fence panels come fully pressure treated in natural (green)
Do I need wood or concrete posts?We would recommend concrete fence posts for fence panels. Wood is also a good option if using uc4 treated posts. This will ensure they will last with ground contact. We only sell uc4 treated posts.What size are the slats for slatted fence?The size of the slats are 45mm x 17mmWhat are the alternatives other than a slatted fence panel?G&G has your needs covered.
