Both panels are made from British spruce that’s pressure treated for outdoor use. The difference lies in how they’re built.

Both designs outlast standard lap panels, but The Beast that we make at G&G is in a different league. Its fully frame, stainless steel fixings give it more resistance against strong winds. The added weight means less flex, so it doesn’t rattle or shift when the weather turns bad.
Featheredge panels are lighter but still strong for their price. With proper posts and gravel boards, they will hold up well and last for years. Regular cleaning and the right treatment will keep both looking great as well.
Both panels offer full privacy, with no gaps between the boards (ideal if you have nosey neighbours). The Beast stands out for its clean, framed edges and a great look on, making it ideal for shared boundaries. Featheredge panels have the same finish from the front just dont have the full frame or stainless steel fixings but still effectively block wind and noise. Both come in natural or brown finishes to match any garden style.
