We was asked to install an acoustic fence to a property on the Wrotham road. The client bought a new house but did not realise how much noise was created by the heavy traffic and amount of large lorries that use this road. We used Jacksons Acoustic fencing to reflect some of the noice away from the road. The acoustic fence is designed to reflect sound away from the affected area please take a look a the pics below. We are approve Jacksons fence installer so you get a full 1 years guarantee from us as you do with all our fencing. We install all types of fencing please see our fence install page for more detail or give us a call on 01322-787312

Facts About Meopham

  • The Meopham Windmill was built in 1801 by the three Killick brothers reputedly from old ships timbers purchased from Chatham Dockyard. It was built to a 'Smock' design similar to the brothers' other mill at Strood; the name derives from the similarity to the garment worn by agricultural workers in earlier times. The basic principle of a Smock Mill is that the body of the mill in which the machinery is housed is static and only the 'cap' and sails turn to face the wind.
  • Gavin one of our company directors lives in Meopham, Kent
