A Strong hand made Custom premium fence panel that are a lot stronger that the lap panel fence, Our close board panel is best used with concrete posts and gravel boards but can also be used with wooden posts. All Our Close Board Fence Panels are Hand Made In Rochester, Kent. We only use British spruce feather edge cut from the centre of the core to assure the best quality fence panels you can buy. All of our wood comes from a sustainably source. We make all sizes of fence panels and can also make them made to measure if needed. All feather edge used for our close board fence panels are from premium wood to ensure there are less knots and are pressure treated and dipped in TANALITH Extra to give extra protection. What is a 6 x 6 close board fence panel?A Close board fence panel is formed from the best spruce feather edge, they are constructed on a full frame to give maximum strength. The beast fence panels are the strongest and have been tested to 800kg.
What size do beast fence panels come in ?All beast panels are 1829mm wide and come from 1ft to 8ft tall
What size fence posts do i need?If you are using a 12 in concrete gravel board you will need 2ft of your fence post in the ground. Your fence post will need to be at least 2ft in the ground with 2 postcrete.Do I need wood or concrete fence posts?We would recommend concrete fence posts for fence panels. Wood is also a good option if using uc4 treated posts. This will ensure they will last with ground contact. We only sell uc4 treated posts.Are the beast fence panels treated?Yes! the beast close board fence panels are fully pressure treated.
Do I need to treat my fence panels?You will not need to treat your fence panels bought from G&G as they are fully pressure treated but if you want to keep them looking fresh we recommend Barrentine Timber Protector to repel water, protect against UV damage and mould. The Barrentine Timber Protector offers good surface protection due to its wax content, but it's really only suitable for use on pre-treated timber.
Do I need a gravel board under my fence panel?You do not need to install a gravel board but we do recommend that you do install one.
